I have dedicated this site to my visitor to share my life’s experiences through my book Lemonade Life: A Survivor’s Story. It is written in an easy and readable way to promote, inspire, motivate and empower those who take the time to reflect on their own experiences. I do hope it will help unfortunate and exploited teenagers and young adults throughout the inner cities, who believe that to succeed help is necessary from the outside. This notion is not necessarily true, based on the factual lessons learnt from my experiences. I do believed that sharing my experiences will help them realize that success is based on taking personal responsibility, having faith, focus, determination and hard work.
Daley, Sr. believes that for too long individuals who have had deep and painful experiences during their journey to success by pulling themselves up from their bootstraps are reluctant or afraid to make that part of their life known which might be in conflict with the false sense of belonging in their present social status. I was determined not to take that path because I believed that “success” is not success, until one uses his or her successful experiences to change another person’s life”. This will in many ways create a new day in their lives that would not have been possible.
By reflecting and sharing my experiences is my way of giving back with the hope that it will inspire and motivate others who have had or having similar experiences; while at the same time advance my own legacy of hope. “He who only defends, looses”.
